Ingredients
 

  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour – Plain Flour
  • 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 packet Yeast
  • 1 cup White Sugar – Regular Sugar – Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cardamom
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 3/4 cup Butter
  • 2 tbsp Yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Nigella Seeds – Black Cumin – Kalojeera – Kalonji -Kalanji

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, cardamom, and salt.
  • Add the butter and knead for 5-10 minutes or until a smooth dough is formed.
  • Cover with dish cloth. Keep it in a warm place and let it rest for 2 hours.
  • Preheat the oven to 218 C / 425 F.
  • Divide the dough into two parts.
  • On a floured surface, pat the dough into a round flat shape.
  • Transfer the dough to a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  • Poke holes or make patterns on the surface. Sprinkle nigella seeds and spray with water.
  • Leave to bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Slice like a pizza and serve.

NOTES

You can keep it in an airtight bag and store it in the freezer for longer shelf life.
