Authentic Recipe of Gon Chow Ngau Ho. Delicious Chinese Traditional Beef Chow Fun from Guangdong.

Chinese Traditional Beef Chow Fun from Guangdong – Gon Chow Ngau Ho is a beef noodle dish seasoned with soy sauce, a classic Cantonese delicacy.

Things to know about Gon Chow Ngau Ho Recipe

Chinese Traditional Beef Chow Fun from Guangdong – Gon Chow Ngau Ho is a famous Cantonese dish best enjoyed as a snack or breakfast. The main ingredient is flat rice noodles that you can find in Guangdong, China. Also, it consists of marinated beef and bean sprouts.

The cooking technique may require some expertise because of two things: the “wok hei” or stir-frying ingredients over high heat to enhance the umami flavor. The second is the “pow wok,” tossing ingredients without a spatula to avoid sticking and breaking the rice noodles.

However, you should not worry as the taste is almost identical even if you fail these two techniques. The origin of the recipe came from a folk tale from World War II in Guangzhou. The cooking time is short, so anyone with a busy schedule can try this dish and enjoy its delicious umami taste.
