Ingredients
 

  • 100 grams (3.53 oz) Feta Cheese
  • 1 pc Tomato
  • ½ pc Red Onion Medium
  • ½ pc Chilli Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • ½ tsp Dried Oregano

Instructions
 

  • Slice the onion and chili pepper.
  • Place the feta in a piece of aluminum foil. Add the tomatoes and onions on top and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle the oregano on top and wrap it with aluminum foil. Place the wrapped cheese on a baking tray.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C/350 °F. Bake Feta bouyiourdi for 20 minutes.
  • Serve hot. Kalí órexi! Enjoy your meal!

NOTES

You can add other vegetables to Feta bouyiourdi.
COOKING TIPS:

Bake everything together wrapped in aluminum foil for the best flavor, bake them slowly until all the flavors are combined.  For tomatoes to release the most juice, use ripe tomatoes.

SERVE WITH:

Serve Feta bouyiourdi with some crusty bread or pita bread.
