  • 2 cups Wheat Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 cup Clarified Butter
  • Water

  • In a large bowl, add wheat flour, baking powder, salt, and clarified butter. Combine everything well and make sure that the dough is moist.
  • Now, start adding water to the flour and knead it into a soft dough.
  • Take a section of dough and roll it into a small ball. With your fingers, make an impression of 'X' and press it a little.
  • Prepare such dough balls with all the dough.
  • Next, place it in a gas oven, also known as Tandoor. Bake them for 30 minutes until golden brown.
  • Once it is ready, dip it in melted clarified butter and keep it in a casserole.
  • Your Indian Traditional Baked Hard Bread from Rajasthan – Baati is ready. Serve the Baati with Daal, pickles, and onion slices.
