Makki Ki Roti‘ means bread of corn. It is an unleavened bread prepared from cornmeal and one of the widely eaten dishes in North India.

The Indian Traditional Corn Flatbread from Punjab – Makki Ki Roti, originates from the region of Punjab. Its preparation involves kneading cornmeal into a dough and rolling flatbreads out of it. Since cornmeal doesn’t contain cohesion, it is quite challenging to shape Makki Ki Roti.
