Haldi Ka Doodh – Indian Traditional Golden Milk from Haryana

- 2 1/2 cups Milk
- 3/4 tsp Turmeric Powder – Curcuma Powder
- 4 unit Green Cardamom Pod Seeds
- 1/4 thumb Fresh Ginger Root
- 6 units Black Peppercorn
- 1/2 thumb Cinnamon Stick
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Take a pan and heat it on medium flame. Add milk.
- Add turmeric after 2 minutes.
- Add green cardamom pods, ginger, black peppercorn, and cinnamon.
- Add sugar and whisk everything together.
- Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the heat. Let the drink rest for another 5 minutes and serve.
