Ingredients
- 2 cups Rice Cooked
- ½ tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 2 tbsp Peanut
- 2 tbsp Cashew
- 1 tsp Mustard Seed
- 1 tsp Black Lentil
- 1 tsp Split Chickpea – Chana Dal
- 1 unit Dried Red Chili
- 1 thumb Fresh Ginger Root Finely chopped
- 2 units Green Chili Finely chopped
- 1 pinch Asafoetida
- 5 units Curry Leaf
- ½ tsp Turmeric Powder – Curcuma Powder
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2 tbsp Fresh Coriander Finely chopped
Instructions
- In a large pan, heat oil and roast peanuts until they become crunchy.
- Add cashews to the pan and roast them till they become golden brown. Take the cashews and peanuts out and set them aside.
- Now in the same oil, add mustard seeds, black lentils, split chickpea, and dried chili. Mix well and add ginger, green chilies, asafoetida, and curry leaves.
- Keep the flame on medium and let it splutter. Add turmeric to the tempering and sauté gently.
- Next, add the cooked rice to the pan along with salt and combine everything well.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice and add chopped coriander to garnish.
