- 1 tbsp Basmati Rice Soaked
- 1/2 tbsp Clarified Butter
- 5 cup Milk
- 7 tbsp Caster Sugar – Superfine Sugar – Baker´s Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Green Cardamom Powder
- 10 Units Pistachio Chopped, For Garnish, Optional
- 10 Units Almond Chopped, For Garnish
- Take a non-stick pan and add clarified butter to it.
- In another deep non-stick pan, pour the milk and let it be on low flame for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, add rice to the clarified butter and saute it till it becomes light brown.
- Add the milk to the rice, combine well and let it boil for 20-25 minutes.
- When the rice is cooked, add the cardamom powder and sugar. Mix everything well and cook for 10 minutes more.
- Turn off the flame and serve the Doodhpak in bowls. Garnish chopped almonds, pistachio, or the dry fruits of your choice.
