Things to know about Raita Recipe

The Indian Traditional Yogurt or Raita is a mouth-watering side dish typically served with rice items. It can also be referred to as a condiment, a dip, or a salad.

The word “Raita” is derived from the Hindi word “Rai” which means black mustard seed and “Tiktaka” which means sharp or pungent. The dish is also called “pachadi” in some states.

The preparation of the dish is very easy and barely takes 5 minutes to make. Often served with Biryani, a flavored rice dish, Raita enhances the flavor of the dish it is served with. The dish is extremely good for your health as it’s full of raw veggies. Old people can also relish the spicy salad.
