Ingredients
- 1000 grams (2.2 lb) Lamb Cut into small pieces
- 2 tbsp Salt
- 1½ cups Vegetable Oil
- 1 pc Onion Sliced
- 5 pcs Carrot Julienne
- 5½ cups Water
- 1 cup Basmati Rice
Instructions
- Mix salt and meat in a bowl. Thoroughly mix with hands.
- Take a large pot and heat oil in it.
- Then add meat and fry until a brownish shade appear.
- Then add onions.
- When onions soften, add carrots and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat.
- Then add water and salt. Bring to boil over high heat for 5 minutes.
- Then add rice to the pot, and keep stirring slowly using a slotted spoon.
- When most of the water is absorbed by the rice, lower the heat.
- Cover the pot with a lid wrapped in a kitchen towel and cook for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes transfer to a serving platter and serve warm.
